Parental Notification: What Could It Mean for Me???

Disclaimer: Parental Notification is NOT in effect in Illinois, but we would like to discuss this important matter should it ever go into effect. Join us on Wednesday, January 11, 2012.

DID YOU KNOW: If you are under 18 and pregnant, you have three options: Parenting, Adoption, and Abortion. 

ARE YOU: A YOUNG PERSON interested in learning more about your rights in Parental Notification?

DID YOU KNOW: If you are under 18 and pregnant, Parental Notification requires that if you want to have an abortion, the clinic has to notify an adult family member. (Adult means your parent, step-parent, or legal guardian.)

DID YOU KNOW:  Parental Notification is not safe for all young women.  Many young women have experienced emotional and physical harm due to the Parental Notification Act.
