ICAH would like to ask all supporters to  continue to make time to call, write emails and send in letters and postcards to your State Legislators in support of State Bill (House Bill) HB 3027, the Accurate Sexual Health Education Bill, which is now being championed by State Representative Camille Lilly.

ICAH is working with the Reproductive Health Access (RHA) Coalition to help advocate for passage of this bill in the Illinois State Legislature. As you may remember, this bill (then SB 1619) passed out of the Illinois Senate this past spring and is currently pending approval in the Illinois House during this fall veto session.

On October 5th, ICAH School of Justice youth member Kendra Jones spoke on a panel at a community-wide event discussing comprehensive sexual health education, hosted by the Urban League in Chicago. Member organizations of the RHA Coalition, including ICAH, sponsored this event. The bill's sponsor, State Rep. Camille Lilly, was also a panelist.
