URGENT MEETING!

MEETING ON AUGUST 3RD TO DISCUSS THE PARENTAL NOTICE OF ABORTION LAW
Please excuse the late notice but this is an important meeting to discuss the enactment of the Parental Notice of Abortion Law in Illinois.
Chicago Girls’ Coalition, the ACLU of Illinois and the Illinois Caucus for Adolescent Health invite you to attend a meeting for girl-serving/youth serving organizations to learn more about the soon to be enacted Parental Notice of Abortion Law.
Come learn more about:
· ways that young women will be affected by the law – including the notification requirements and alternatives to notification
· work that the ACLU of Illinois is doing through its Bypass Coordination Project
· multiple ways that youth serving organizations could help
· ways that young women are educating other youth about the Bypass effort
We will also distribute a YOUTH GUIDE that talks about the Parental Notification law and includes resources for young women who may be affected by this law.
